After receiving his degree in landscape design and horticulture in 1986, Joe de Groot began working for some of the top landscape firms on Long Island. His experience with these firms spanned from design and sales through all phases of construction. With this vast knowledge and experience, he decided to begin his own business in 2002. de Groot Designs, Inc. provides both residential and commercial landscape design and construction services in both Nassau and Suffolk counties.
